This is a good one. It’s amazing how such basic fallacies can be so persistent. “They laughed at Edison. They laugh at me. Therefore I may be onto something”. An unbelievable number of people subscribe to this ‘philosophy’, and 99% of self-help/get-rich literature is based on a flavor of the same.
